We’re looking forward to returning to the “Emerald Isle” for Dublin’s third Tall Ships event, as Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta 2018 helps the Irish capital celebrate the Dublin RiverFest.
Dublin is set to extend its customary friendly welcome to trainees, crew members and visitors alike, as the second port of Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta 2018. We’re looking forward to revisiting the River Liffey and the Docklands area, and experiencing the cultural events that the city has to offer.
Dublin is the Republic of Ireland’s capital, and it’s largest city. It’s located in the province of Leinster on the east coast, on the mouth of the River Liffey. The city was founded as a Viking settlement, and today it boasts medieval castles, cathedrals, art, and architecture in abundance.
Dublin has a huge personality that embraces diversity – it’s a melting pot of cultures and nationalities, which contribute to this cobbled city’s friendly feel. Book yourself onto one of the city’s many walking tours and check out the splendour of this small yet cosmopolitan capital.
“Dublin is a fantastic international destination city, and I’m sure that the captains and crews will have a memorable time here during Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta 2018.”
Paul Bishop, Race Director, Sail Training International.
